WANTED: 2 Bedroom apartment in duplex, triplex or house

Spacious older style apartment with character. I have lived in my present space for 15 years and have excellent references. The building sold and the new owners are moving their entire family into the triplex. I LOVE my apartment and have created a beautiful space. I've added french doors and chandeliers. I HATE that I have to leave it. My present rent is $960 per month including heat and water. This SHOULD be the normal rent for a 2 bedroom but since the covid BS, rent has doubled. There's no reason for it what so ever! I'm willing to pay slightly more, but not double! I'm retired but I have an online business. My adult son lives with me. He's unemployed but searching for work.
