The Butcher of Saint-Paul-of-the-Cross
When the beast descended upon us the church closed its doors forever. Many of the towns people left too.
The many legends of the Appalachian Mountains are routed in truth. Deep within the mountain wilderness forests, high above the seaway many secrets are kept. Some stay buried forever.
Only the bravest dark seekers have journeyed here and many have not returned.
The long, long dark winding road up the steep mountain leads to a century old castle-like church. Made of hand cut stone over 120 years ago. Beware the bears, moose and wolves.
This is where you will find the beast. The Butcher of Saint-Paul-of-the-Cross lives alone in the church. He does not sleep and occasionally enjoys company.
Come if you dare for a midnight church tour by candle light. The Butcher speaks French, English and many other languages. Sometimes he speaks in unworldly tongues, but prefers tours to be in silence. Dead silence.
Adult groups only and visitors must pre-book and notify next of kin.
July and August only before the ravens descend. $100 per person for the Last Rites church and cemetery tour by candlelight at midnight.
Daytime tours available also for $20 per person.
