It's a short walk to the subway, supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants/pubs, Koerner Hall, and ROM. Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson), OCAD, the Eaton Centre and the AGO are within walking distance.
FULL DISCLOSURE: This is also an OLD apartment building with NO air conditioning, NO dishwasher, and NO en-suite washer-dryer. It can be TOO WARM in winter as there is no individual thermostat, and it can also be TOO COLD in that in-between period when you are still waiting for the heat to kick in. It can also be TOO COLD in spring when the heat is turned off BEFORE it might be warm enough. THERE IS A SPACE HEATER for days like these.
