Furnishings include: new Queen Plush Memory Foam Mattress, Down Duvet, Leather Couches and Kitchenette. (Extra bedding available upon request)
Suite includes a wifi with Roku TV and Blueray player (plays cd's, dvd).
Amenities include ensuite private washer and dryer.
Climate control with central air conditioner, new furnace, air exchanger and air filtration.
Supplementary Electric heater with thermostat control is provided to ensure comfort.
Extra large airbath jacuzzi tub / shower.

Suite access

Private Lane Access with Ground Floor Entry. The entire basement suite is completely separate from our living space above. (24 hour access)
Your own private doorbell allows for ease of access for visitors or deliveries without disturbing upstairs occupants.

You have 24 hour keyed access to a separate suite, so come and go as you please, just please try to keep inside suite levels reasonable at night, as we are a family living above.

Contract

Looking for minimum weekly rental periods. Monthly rental is a more discounted rate. damage deposit will be required. Flexible Start and Stop Dates. (anyday). If not given in advance we require a minimum two weeks notice period. Signing a rental contract is always required.
References may be required.

$1400 per month $450 per week $60 per day

Strict NO smoking in suite, We also ask you refrain from using scented products. (smoking allowed outside). We promptly evict people for smoking inside suite.
NO pets in suite. (we do have a dog above).

The neighbourhood

The area is near many amenities.
The street life of Broadway a few blocks away: Broadway Theatre, live music (Buds, Amigos, Vangelis, The Bassment), Pubs like Yard and Flagon, Specialty restaurants, food stores and shopping. Walk along the Meewasin River Trails, or cross the Broadway bridge to downtown and the Theatre and Arts district with Persephone Theatre, and New Remai Modern Art Gallery, Kinsmen Park for kids (trains, ferris wheels, spray parks). The Area is surrounded with amenities of all kinds, and all ages.
A few blocks further is the Royal University Hospital and the larger University Campus and Research Facilities. A local grocery store (Steep Hill Food Cooperative) is nearby.

Getting around

Civic amenities are close by, so walking and biking are common modes of transportation. Frequent bus services are also near by.
There is lots of access to free street parking near the suite. There is a local car cooperative nearby, new city scooter rentals, local bike rental shops (Life Outside and Bike Doctor), Uber access and taxi, etc.
