We looking for a new roommate at our spot in takhini west. We are 2 men, 30 and 32. We both work as carpenters. I have a dog, toby, who is sweet and friendly. We have a full 1/2 of a duplex with a big yard (not enclosed). It's a fairly laid back environment. We don't host parties or anything. Zac and I are into outdoor activities and hanging out with friends. If I can't find anyone we will just keep the room empty, but it's nice having people around.

The rent fluctuates between $2093 in the warmer months of the year to $1806 in the colder months. The idea here is that in the winter when it's cold and the utilities are more expensive, the rent is a bit cheaper. This way the average cost of rent and utilities is averaged out better. We split all the utility bills, and rent between the roommates. It usually averages out to around $850/ month for each person's share of rent and utilities.

You will need to be willing to contribute to regular upkeep around the house. In the summer, mowing the lawn when it's your turn. In the winter, shovelling snow. And year round we divide up chores to be done around the house. If you can't clean up after yourself it's not going to work out. We expect you clean your dishes the same day you use them, and put them away once dried.

There's available storage space in the basement for your things.

The room is 100 square feet with a 14 square foot closet. We have one bathroom we share. If you need more information feel free to ask.
