Local first generation farm operation looking to rent land for certified organic crops, such as corn, soybeans, wheat, etc.
Primarily looking for previously farmed land that has since overgrown with brush, trees, weeds, etc. or old pasture/hay land. Also willing to convert conventional crop land to organic. Ideally the land is located in the North Grenville area but willing to travel depending on the amount of available acres.
We are adopting regenerative farm practices such as no-till planting, diversified crop rotations, extensive use of cover crops and exploring livestock integration in our cropping practices.
