I hope this post finds the right person as me.and my children are in desperation.

We are currently residing in a shelter for D/A. I have been trying endlessly to find us a home to bring back some independence and normalcy. It has proven very difficult to even find a basement apartment as I am the only one working and my credit score is poor. This is something that can be worked on once we are settled.
Majority of landlords will refuse, even with a guarantor. This stems from people losing their jobs because of covid. I do not think it's fair or right to judge based on a bad precious experience.
I was the sole provider for a family of 6 paying $2500.00 a month plus 80% utilities for 10 years in the same home here in Ajax.
I am quite the responsible adult. I have 3 children. 13, 10, 5. We are quiet and clean and would spend majority of days out. We are not the the type to sit with lights on or leave lights on when we leave the house as I know how expensive it is to do so.
It is sad to have to be this vulnerable and post my business here, but this is how hard life is and my end date here is nearing, August 17th. I am on the special priority housing list for durham because of the D/A. This should take no more than a year. I would be willing to sign a 6 month lease and take it from there.

I have worked so hard for my children and had to lose everything. But I realize that it's materialistic. Our happiness out weighs that loss and a new start at life is all we need.

I am asking anyone with a heart to please find it with in themselves to give me a chance. I have all the required documents and I have a guarantor.

I am looking between Ajax and Pickering. Preferably a basement
