Due to an upcoming relocation, I have a spacious, charming 1 bedroom apartment available for a lease transfer in a quiet, leafy Côte-des-Neiges street, from February 1st 2025. The lease renews on May 1st.
The apartment can come partially furnished; for no extra charge, I will include a Queen bed mattress, and a kitchen table and chairs - this was about $1000 to buy new - a great deal for you! There could also be the possibility to include some appliances and other furniture for a small additional price.
In 2022 before I moved in, the apartment was upgraded with new plumbing and electrical, and the kitchen and bathroom were renovated.
It has high ceilings, wooden floors and classic charming architectural details. There is a balcony off the living room and a dining area off the kitchen.
There are vended laundry machines in the building. Heat and hot water is included.
While there is a garage, the lease does not include a car park. However, I believe the building management could arrange this for an extra fee.
Within walking distance to Metro Université de Montréal on the Blue line, and steps away from a bus stop for the 129; a direct link to downtown, Concordia University and McGill University. The on-ramp for the expressway is just ten short blocks away, giving you easy access to Highways 15 and 720.
Some things to consider:
• The lease is up for renewal on May 1st.
• Rent is currently $1480 per month, however in late Jan / early Feb, please expect communication of a rental increase of approx. 5 to 8%.
• Building management is closed until Jan 3rd, but I'm available for most of the holidays period for viewings (except for between Jan 3-5).
• If you're interested, building management have requested a copy of an ID and your contact details to process the tenancy application.
• No pets.
• Includes fridge and stove (owned by landlord) and bed, table and chairs (which will be yours!)
• Excludes Hydro, natural gas and Internet.
• I've mentioned it's 750 sq feet but actually I don't know the exact size... this is a guess.
