ISO: Housing for June15th or July 1st in the Whitehorse area as my landlord will be selling their rental property. Earlier and perhaps later move in dates may be possible.

I’m a mature professional and an exemplary tenant with excellent references looking for a 2 or more bedroom home with a yard. My ideal is Riverdale but am open to most anywhere.

I have an 8yr old well behaved dog for whom I take great care. I can also provide excellent references from dog walkers, dog sitters, neighbours and my landlord which will attest to Talila’s character and the high degree of responsibility I have for her care. This includes a poop-free yard! Lol.

Yukon has been my home since 2016 and although I am experienced living off grid (wood stoves, dry cabins) as a mature professional working long hours I do need a place with full plumbing and back up heat. That said, I’d be ecstatic to have a place with a wood stove!

I am a conscientious, exceptionally clean, considerate, kind and easy-going person. I put a lot of love into my home and tend to create a space that has a deeply comfortable, safe and beautiful feel. This is fundamental for me due to my high stress work environment.

I am proficient with wood stoves, rural living, and have an eye for what needs doing in order to maintain a home. This includes seasonal yard maintenance and I usually leave spaces in as good if not better condition than I found it. I am quite independent and tend to get things done. I love being out in nature and on the land and am blessed to have a wonderful community of friends in Whitehorse and nearby communities.

Talila has been with me since 2017.
She is a very sweet and super chill being, well-behaved and non-destructive. She has lived with other dogs as well as cats. She is a rescue and we have learned and grown a lot together. I am so proud of her. I have a near zero tolerance for pet hair on furniture/floors and dog poo in yards. My vacuum cleaner is top notch and my dog thankfully has a deep aversion to pooping in her yard. Even so, I routinely clean the yard.

Ideally, I hope to find a sun-filled home within 15mins drive from the hospital that has space for gardening and easy access to the incredible network of trails around WH. A large fenced yard, woodstove and Riverdale or a sweet spot in the forest would be absolutely incredible.
