My husband and I are looking for housing for our family.
I am on AISH disability and receive the Calgary Housing rent supplement. My husband is enrolled at SAIT for Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship.
Our Pretty Girl is a 1.5 year old, 5lb support kitten who is very important to my mental health and stability.
We are trying very hard to build something more stable for ourselves, and we are looking for somewhere safe, long-term, and steady where we can finally settle and make a real home.
I want to be upfront however, that both my husband and I have bruised credit. I was taken advantage of and he had a really horrible circumstance fall into his lap.
I know credit is important, and I do not want to make excuses. I just want to explain that these happenings were painful, highly situational, and not caused by carelessness or a lack of responsibility.
We are actively trying to turn things around, stabilize our lives, and rebuild properly.
We are willing to discuss reasonable payment arrangements if that would help show that we are serious about finding and maintaining stable housing. Honestly we would do anything.
We are not looking for a handout. We are looking for a fair chance to make somewhere a home.
