Seeking one or two renters for an outstanding, fully furnished basement suite in upper Edgemont, NW, in the home of two professionals, who live upstairs. The inclusive rent will be $1500/month for one person or $1700 for two people.

A couple of years ago, I transitioned this suite from a Five-Star Airbnb, with two years of Super-Host status, to a longer-term, monthly rental situation. This suite is ideal for a corporate rental, international academic, student, or a newcomer to Calgary. All you need to bring is your suitcase! Conversely, it is not ideal for someone with many belongings or furniture.

*Kitchenette with a complete set of dishes, glasses, and cutlery, large mini-fridge, microwave, double sink, double induction cooktop stove, combination air fryer & toaster oven (countertop convection oven), pot, frying pan, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pub-height table and chairs
*BBQ with side burner, just a few steps out the door, available for seasonal use
*Comfortable Living Room with a 42” TV
*Many board games and puzzles are included and available for use
*Central heating as well as a natural gas fireplace with a fan, in the main room
*Large windows look out to a big, beautiful backyard, which backs onto a green space
*Shared laundry facilities on the main level of the house during daytime/evening hours, but everything else is private downstairs: entrance, bedroom, bathroom, Living Room, kitchenette
*Homeowners may access the basement Tool Room, Furnace Room, and Sewing Room during daytime/evening hours
*You will find the suite to be extremely clean – and I would expect you to keep it to a good standard of cleanliness during your time here -- brand new, upright vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter and other starter cleaning supplies provided
*On a quiet cul-de-sac in a beautiful, safe neighbourhood
*Street or driveway parking
*Two-minute walk to the bus stop to go to Dalhousie Station LRT (Bus # 154/54)
