My name is Emily. I'm a full-time university student with a full sponsorship (domestic, Canadian citizen) that includes living allowance (rent).

In this point in time, I no longer feel safe at the current building I'm in due to the other tenants being dangerous and the landlord advancing himself on me. I fear my personal safety has been compromised and wish to leave.

For the sake of wanting my full deposits back, I am aiming to be out for September 1st.

I am seeking an apartment, basement, etc., (doesn't matter the rooms or if it's a studio/bachelor) that is under $1000 and includes some utilities plus laundry in the building, and bathroom.

Currently, I'm paying $975 for a place that doesn't include utilities or has laundry in the building and on top of the tenants and a questionable landlord, I don't see this as a fair living situation.

I do not smoke, drink, or party. I only wish for a clean, quiet, and safe place to continue my studies.
I can provide a verification of student-income on letterhead.

I'm hoping for a pet-friendly place as I have a very small 3y/o female dog (less than 6lbs) and a 1y/o female cat.

If the right fit, I can consider a roommate situation as well, as I know it's hard in this economy for a single person to afford a place on their own.
