This is a brand new "tiny home" in a new subdivision in Pouch Cove, just 15 minutes from Stavanger Drive. You get your own home, your own yard, your own driveway with no attached or downstairs tenants for just $1,750/mo POU. I believe that there is nothing comparable in Newfoundland!
As you can see from the pictures its not actually a "tiny home" in the usual sense. We built this under the new tiny homes rules that are permitted in Pouch Cove. It is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom 392 sq ft footprint house with a fully developed basement which gives it a total finished floor area of just under 800 sq ft. It is ideal for a young couple just starting out, an older couple who want to downsize while they travel the world, or anyone who wants a space and cost efficient home. The second bedroom can be used as a guest bedroom an office, as a kid's bedroom for a small family. It is built to normal National Building Code standards, R50 attic insulation, 2x6 walls fully insulated and vapour barrier, heat exchanger, 40 gal hot water tank, standard size stainless steel appliances, double width paved driveway, back deck, and we are including an 8x10 shed for extra storage.
