Cottage for rent on Pigeon Lake near Bobcaygeon in the Kawarthas

The cottage is available from May 16th 2025 through October 13th 2025

Relaxing, comfortable 3 season cottage on Pigeon Lake near Bobcaygeon. The cottage features a spacious kitchen and family room with walk-out to deck overlooking the lake. It has two waterfronts with docks, a fire pit for an evening campfire, a beautiful view of the lake and lovely sunsets.
Clear, shallow waterfront entrance is great for small children with good swimming. The cottage sits on the shores of one of the best boating and fishing spots in the Kawarthas. There is excellent pickerel, bass, perch and muskie fishing. The property has a large lawn with a fire pit and play area, great for games like volleyball, soccer, football and badminton or other relaxing activities. Cottage has a patio with picnic table and gas BBQ (propane supplied). There’s a natural boat slip on the property if you wish to bring your own boat (no boats are supplied).

Interior: The cottage has two bedrooms with a double bed in each and a double pull-out sofa in the family room. The bathroom is three piece (shower), and there’s a fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) joining a large family room with a window A/C. There is WIFI with access to some live TV and movies. There is a firestick so you may log into and out of your own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts.

Local Activities: Just 15 minutes to the heart of Bobcaygeon or 20 minutes from Buckhorn, where you’ll find all your needs during your stay, such as many nice restaurants for casual or fine dining, the LCBO and Beer store, drug stores, and hardware stores. There are several well stocked grocery stores and many shops and boutiques. In the surrounding areas there are craft shows, art galleries, horseback riding, Warsaw Caves and lots of country roads for hiking, bicycling or walking.

Shorter stays are available during the spring and fall seasons.

RATES:

Summer - June 21st to September 6th:
Saturday to Saturday only: $1400/week
There is a discount of $175 on the 2nd week of a consecutive 2-week rental

May 24 and Thanksgiving Long Weekends:
3 nights - $715

May, June, September and October:
2 nights - $525
3 nights - $685
4 nights - $835
5 nights - $975
6 nights - $11050
7 nights - $1225

During the summer we only rent weekly from Saturday to Saturday.

Rates are based on single-family occupancy of up to a maximum of 6 guests - children of all ages count as guests.

A $600 (for weekly rentals) or 50% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking.
Outstanding balance and security fee are due upon checking in.
All payments must be made by e-transfer or cash – no personal checks are accepted.

An additional refundable $500 security fee is required at time of arrival.
Cottage must be cleaned and damage free for the refund.
Refunds are made within 14 days of departure.
You may inquire about bringing 1 dog which is an extra $175 fee.

Check-in time is 4pm / Check-out time is 10:30am -> no exceptions.
