Hi! I'm Dave. I am a creative & master's student @ UofT (socio-cultural anthropology and the ecology). Looking for someone to share this apartment with -- near Sherbourne Station and $1250 a month. I welcome any human being to apply so long as they're chill, easy to get along with, and clean the bathroom at least 2x a year. I resent the housing situation in Toronto, but with some humility (and consideration) we can make it work -- or even enjoy it (can you imagine) !! I have zero interest in living with total strangers. All this means is, once a month or so let's go for a walk together, have a coffee / drink, or eat out somewhere. I might send you a text once a week or so just to keep in touch, share info on a cool cafe that opened up in the neighborhood (a decent person will not just ignore these texts). Pretty *damn* reasonable and really essential to surviving this housing crisis together -- to be just a little (but not too) involved in each other's lives. Just have the basic human decency to respond when I muster a "good morning" when sharing the kitchen in the early morning hours.

If this (miniscule) level consideration is too much for you, move on.

Priority goes to students, musicians (jamming is better than talking tbh), creatives, and people with cool dogs. Also, due to my already-precarious situation, I would appreciate it if you have solid finances. Like I said, I resent the housing situation in this city -- but what else can we do?

The place is a decent size with common area (I have furnished it but I welcome contributions / rearrangement). The 2nd store balcony is great spring-fall. The bedroom (couldn't find a photo) has a large window and large closet. All wooden floors (slats). Electricity (usually between $75-$190 (summer->winter) split down the middle. In-suite laundry (sounds fancy when you say "in-suite" huh? Though it is actually a basic human right!) Virgin Internet ($60 or so) and tenant insurance ($30 for 2) included in rent.
