Rent includes water, and the building is newly built, so everything is energy efficient. We typically pay around $40-$55 per month for our electricity bill. And yes, we have our air-conditioning on during summer and heat during winter throughout the day because our little boy is home with grandma. It is a 1 bed, 1 bath and 1 den suite but we have been using the den as a second bedroom as the size is as big as our main bedroom. The suite is currently listed for $1650, but you will get it for $1570 from us which will save you $80 per month plus $200 credit in cash when you move in. Move-in is July 1 and the lease is up until Dec 31, 2024, and you can extend if desire (I'm sure you will). Suite is fully equipped with central heat (individual thermostats), air conditioning, full-size stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave), in-suite laundry and modern finishes such as quartz countertops and luxury vinyl plank flooring. As a resident you also get free access to resident clubhouse (including kitchen) where you can host event, fitness centre, outdoor pool, fire pits and BBQ with seating area, game room, indoor bike storage, working space with free Internet connection and plugs for charging, off-leash dog run, and pet wash station. The office also organizes events for residents with free food, drinks, and activities throughout the year.
Parking is available for both options outdoor ($60 a month) and underground ($150 a month) for you to choose. You can also opt to use underground parking month-to-month at the same rate during winter months only. Street parking is also available. Your visitors also get their dedicated parking spots, you just need to reserve a day in advance, and it is free. There are also electric vehicle charging stations.
Everything is within walking distance from café, hair salon, nail bar, massage centre, restaurants, clinic, banks, Shoppers, Sobeys, Shell, daycare, schools and so many more amenities in the area. Close to schools, daycare, parks, and walking trails. Bus 50 (directly to downtown and UofW) is right by the building.
