One bedroom apartment for rent. Located at 204 Perth Avenue. (Right off Main Street!)

We are looking for someone to sublet on the current lease which will be over on October 1st 2024. (3 months left) we are looking for someone to sublet and take over as soon as possible. Preferably July 15th or August 1st, we will be moving out on July 7th next Saturday so the apartment will be empty after July 7th next Saturday. .

Rent is $971 a month due on the 1st of every month. Rent includes Water, Hydro is separate but doesn’t cost much. Those who require a parking spot, rent would cost an extra $36 per month making it $1,007.

This apartment suite is on the second floor of a small 3 story apartment building. This building is filled with friendly neighbours who have mostly lived at this location for a very long time. We ourselves have been here almost 15 years. Many renovations have been done since then, including fresh paint and a built in dishwasher that has been installed. This unit includes air conditioning as well.

Small dogs and cats are welcome, I believe you would need to pay a pet deposit. We do not have pets so I am not sure how that works, you will have to ask the landlord and state that information on your application when applying.

Each building has its own laundry room located on the first floor, a reloadable laundry card is used to operate the machines. These laundry cards cost $25 to purchase but we can give you the one we have currently. If lost or stolen a replacement card would then cost $25. There is a place accross the street where you can reload money onto the laundry card.

Apartment is close by Jefferson and Main Street where you can find, Scoops ice cream, Dollarama, Co-op gas station, IGA, Burger King, and many more. It is also located by many different bus stops as well as a middle school on Salter and a police station on Hartford.

July rent has already been paid so the quicker you apply and are approved, you can move right in without worrying about rent until August 1st. You will need damage deposit with application which is half months rent. (Unless you have a pet, you will need to ask about the cost for that it could be a little extra).

This is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom. There is a living room and kitchen, space for a small table in the kitchen. We have a 4 seat table on the side of the kitchen but we only use 3 seats with the table against the kitchen window wall.. Closet in the hallway at the front door. Closet in the bathroom and a big closet in the bedroom with sliding full size mirror doors. Great natural light with big windows in the living room.
